Goodbye...I can't hold you forever....

Good bye, ....I cannot hold you
forever..
I cannot take this, no not EVER.....
Your memories
have outdone themselves, ,
I need to put you on a shelf.
I will leave and not come back
I'll leave my thoughts,
and then, lose track
of everything you meant to me..
of all the times, I THOUGHT
"would be."
I can't hold on, not anymore..
my pain is great..and what's
in store , is no better, than what
was before..
So, I move on..and I'm free...
just know that
it's what it is..
it's BETTER
you see..?!?....

I am going to work on letting go of a person..and ideas that I have had in my head too long... (I thought that I had gotten rid of most of these thoughts..but, then, they reared their ugliness back up to me..and now I have to deal with them, again!!)
I also want to be free..and one thing that I have definitely noticed..is when I start to get a "sick" feeling
in the pit of my stomach..it is MOST probably related to this issue of ME holding on too tightly and refusing to budge!! Health-wise..this is no good!!
