The Lie

In fact...
I guess that I
never really had you
all along...
you were just...
sooooo
out of my reach
all these years..and now..
I know that
I will never, ever be
close again
to
you!
In fact...
I see that I
was only dreaming
a dream that was
an endless
story, made up
to look real, inviting
and intruiging...
but, in fact...
it was all a
large lie..to
entice me and
play with my
inner emotions
and it did..but,
now I can see
what the truth
really holds,
where the lie
really is.
and that I
was only hoping
for NOTHING
all of these
long years...
In fact...
I have nothing..
I have not
you, nor
will I ever
have the one
I desired
most...

There was a person..with whom I cared way too, too much for...and now..I have learned that I taught myself to believe things that were NEVER going to occur..for years...and years and years...
A PAINFUL lesson to have to finally have learned...but, it's important to SEE the truth..and NOT keep believing in what will NEVER be! It's also a FREEING thing to finally be able to Let a LOT go!!
