A frenzied full moon
by Elements Daughter
Age Group: Adult
repulsing rebellion emanates from
a depth of soul where nothing can come
alienated from "normal" society
victimized...my abnormality keeps reminding me
of a time when I could feel the sickness inside
wondering constantly - 'why wont I die?'
Now, surrounded by the dysfunctional normal
i feel further isolation & confusion - its horrible
I want to love obsessively, psychotically en urged
completely overwhelming & being overwhelmed until I'm purged
of the need for something deeper than
physical indulgence
instead I'm alone and going crazy
hating all the regularity and everyone as they hate me
hating everything aloof, everything free
i need love like a diabetic needs candy
but i will cut my skin till i can taste the blood
then drink it until it makes me feel good
& if I live until I wake,
be sure it'll be my own heart that breaks
