A Faeries Song
Faeries sing the songs of old
Carrying only what should be told
Pipes and flutes come in a stream
Playing on the edges of a misty scene
Riddles and rhymes are their constant chimes
Perfect slander to our nature, our time
Pixies ringing bells sublime
Stuck in our shells, not so divine
Faeries sing the songs of old
Fate and destiny only foretold
Heart wrenching lullabies, haunting words
Transcending all realms, fulfilling worlds
Puzzles and metaphors cloud the soul
The White Lady washes away the cold
Step into the water should one be so bold
Burn like fire, banish the mold
Faeries sing the songs of old
Legends slowly begin to unfold
Follow the pipes and flutes of gold
Heart wrenching lullabies and happiness untold
