Neveralone

As I lay weeping on night in my room
Over the sorrows that I had been through
An ancient voice bourne on the light of the moon
Soothed my soul and left me renewed
She said
You, you’re never alone
I am always with you
Her voice has echoed through ages untold
Speaking to all if they only would hear
Mother eternal she never grows old
Holding us close through triumph and tears
She said
You, you’re never alone
I am always with you
Ah ah ah
I am always with you
Ah ah ah
I’m here I am here
Ah ah ah
No now don’t you cry child
Ah ah ah
You are never alone
I am the moon and the stars
Behold I am the emerald green earth
I am the soul of nature that brings life to you
The circle of life death and rebirth
You, you’re never alone
I am always with you
If you listen you can hear her
Whisper softly with every heartbeat
Author's Notes: This is a song I wrote that appears on Treblehawk's Neveralone CD and will also appear on Shining Wheel Pagan Chorus's Naked on the Earth CD.
