call of the fae
by April Voxfire
Age Group: Adult
I call the 'tween places;
the hidden time-
and offer the branches
the roots and the vine
to honor my kin
by the goddess divine
a faery seek, a faery find
how merry, how merry
to let the child out
let her seek and explore
both within and without
and I will protect her
if danger pops out
caring, timid,
and quiet:
let the faeries see
my true light
a faery glance-the faery sight
Author's Notes: this is a personal poem/invocation i have used in the past to summon the energies of the fae and elementals.
