witch (love thyself)
by April Voxfire
Age Group: Adult
born of the sun
midsummer's daughter
child of Lugh
both the air and water
honeysuckle hair
ivory skin;
I honor myself-
the Goddess within
sister to the wind
bringer of the rains,
thankful for my gifts
and the magik in my veins
created in love;
it is love I will show:
walk this path in happiness
no matter where it goes
from light-
between light-
and to the light I go-
and in the middle
create a spark:
to guide my goddess home
Author's Notes: I wrote this for my dedication on my 18th birthday.
I was born june 21st (summer solsitce)
and I follow Lugh as my patron God
