Eternity

My body cold, my heart torn,
The blood pooling, wet and warm.
One gentle touch, I'm reborn,
I turn to you, expecting scorn.
A gentle eye, you turn on me,
A soft sigh, my want to flee.
Friends only, softly, you say,
Burying emotions, I abstain.
Here for you in that way,
Unconditional love, trust, do what may.
Tell me one thing, I will obey.
Leave, Have, Hold, Wait, Stay.
It doesnt have to be right away.
That one word, whatever you say,
Holds my destiny in sway.
Take your time, my love, I pray.
I'm here till your dying day,
Waiting for what you might say.
