Dawn Chorus

Age Group: Adult
Robin in the East, bring the music
Travel West, waking the world
With your sweet cheerful song
The wave swells as more birds join
Dawn Chorus sweeps through grey sky
And my Heart feels light, alive
Light paints the sky with pink and blue
The morning filled with chirps and trills
Day begins so beautifuly
With sweet music the soundtrack
Songs that fill me with such joy!
Author's Notes: Listening to the Dawn Chorus
Begining this time with Robin, then joined by Towhees, Wrens, Sparrows. Cardinals, Blue Jays and Blue Birds. The Thrashers and a few voices I have yet to identify...
Starting in the East, I let it wash over me as the song-wave moved West, following the Sun.
