(Black) to stop gossiping, meddling people; breaking bad habits; any work involving separation; wisdom and secrets; invoking the Crone or the Morrigan; return energy to sender; divination; dark goddess; light a white candle after burning a black one to balance the working.
(White) . The Goddess, purity, spirituality, devotional magic, general prayers, illumination, good will, initiation, feminine mysteries, freedom, love, health. A white candle may be substituted for any candle color, simply charge with your intent.
(Bluish-black) . Wounded pride, broken bones, angelic protection.
(Violet) . Intelligence, call to the Ancients, anything to do with government, truth, justice, humility, the planet Jupiter, religious devotion, forgiveness
(Lavender) . Peace, serenity, dream magic
( Blue) . Truth, intelligence, wisdom, loyalty, fidelity, peace, meditation, feminine mysteries, water, Queen of Heaven, infinity, poetry, planet Venus, defeat an enemy, protect hearth, home, and the young, calming, serenity.
(Green) . Healing, God/Goddess of Vegetation, youth, hope , happiness, new beginnings, improve the weather, financial gains: use with gold and silver candles if possible; agricultural magic, abundance, prosperity, immortality, Spring, the planets Mercury and Venus.
(Yellow) . Healing, Sun energy, self-esteem, intellect, intuition, goodness, humility, beauty, light, truth, prosperity, attraction, the God.
(Orange) . Opportunities, overcoming challenges, breaking through blocks, material gain, helps to seal a spell, happiness, luxury, remove feelings of abandonment.
(Red) . Action, passion, masculine principle, festivity, strength, faith, life renewal, joy, summer, active leadership, expansion, planet Mars, , increase energy, enthusiasm.
