Muses and Me

A muse amuses me.
For she's funny Comedy.
I laugh loud,
so gleefully.
Another, Tragedy,
makes me cry.
She brings a tear
to my eye.
Mournfully
I do moan and sigh.
Three more muses are Poetry.
Epic, Lyric, and Love are thee.
Each tells her story uniquely.
Song and Dance are two more.
One betters my feet on the floor.
The other helps my voice to soar.
Astronomy is the muse of the stars.
And of the planets,
like Venus and Mars.
She guides me well, near and fars.
History is the last.
She knows well all of the past.
I learn quick from her, for time is fast.
Nine muses help me to see.
Inspiration is their gift to me.
To be the greatest artist I wish to be.
