Eternal Race

King of the Day
Queen of the Night
One follows the other
But who chases who?
Serving Father Time
Minute after minute, month after month
Helping Mother Nature
Season after season, after season, after season
A never ending cycle of Lord pursuing Lady and Lady pursuing Lord
But neither ever being able to catch the other.
Who started this race?
And does it have an end?
