Belief

Deep within the recesses of the mind
The images of the Lord and Lady arise.
Arise into the Foam of conciousness
To be brought forth by each of us.
Each of us here is God and Goddess, Priest and Priestess,
Lord and Lady. We are by nature Both.
And only outwardly do we define ourselves as such
For we are all Divine and in our turn as the Gods.
Look now within the veil of yourself that which you
Have hidden, just as the Gods and Goddesses seek to
hide within Themselves that which they covet.
We would not be as we are if we did not desire or covet
For there is no wrong in this. Only unease --
Whether on you part or others.
Seek not to change anothers mind, but to
Redefine your desires so as to be fruitful to All --
Desire that which you wish -- Covet that which you want
Attain that which sustains.
The God & Goddess are free in Their gifts for those
Who attain and sustain -- Keep pure in your heart and
Mind that which is precious to you -- for it will become
One with You.
Imagine it in the Mind, Believe it in your Soul,
Touch it with your Heart.
The Key ti Magick is Belief.
Belief that you can create that which you Desire.

This Liturgy was written for a former coven in the wake of a great deal of despair. It was all any of us had left. Belief. In ourselves and what we wanted and felt. Sometimes that Belief is not in alignment with what the Gods have in mind for us. So all we have is Belief in what we have.
