Mother.. Mother..

How many times in my life
have you held me close?
How many times on this journey
have you let me know ?
That you alone are my Mother.
I swear that I was meant for no other.
Before I was born & given life
another women held me safe inside.
Mother, it was in your heart I grew,
I am your little girl & that you already knew.
When I was a child
you made me feel safe & secure.
As I grew to be a wild teen
you taught me a Mothers love endures.
Soon I became a young young lady
you showed me it's O.K. to be a little crazy.
Now I have a son of my own
your love for him is worth more than diamonds & gold.
Wonderful Women. Never forget how much your needed.
For without you my life would have been cheated.
