Remember Love

Like a song of love
that lingers in my soul,
The words & rythyms
only my heart knows.
Theres a constant voice
telling me I' ve made my choice,
Such a beautiful song it sings
my love I wouldn't change a thing.
I remember on the ocean, so deep & blue,
when I was lost asea with you.
The waters cradled our ship like a glove,
knowing that down below, we were making love.
This precious time I hold so dear,
for when I'm with you, I know no fear.
I know I'm loved when I'm in your hold,
I dont know how - but, I'll love you even more when were old.
So let my song carry upon the waves,
& if anyone asks - These are our days.
To dance together & build a life,
Baby I love you & I'm proud to be your wife.
Author's Notes: With all the divorce & blame going on in relationships today, it's important to remember why & how you fell in love in the 1st place. So if the world needs to blame someone for something - BLAME ME!!! For forgiveness & caring & for remembering that we are all on this journey together. Also you can blame me for wanting to remember why I fell in love with my spouse all those years ago.
