The Muse

When the darkness grows still
& your mind needs a thrill.
She comes to you child
watch for her cue.
Fleeting wildly or soft
always aware of when our souls are lost.
She will not be ignored.
She will not be denied.
She's your inspirational nymph
speaking to you from deep inside.
Ever passionate is The Muse,
always shading in all of life hues.
