Bridge

I stand in a clearing, in a meadow of beauty
The wind makes the leaves sing and lifts my hair
A child at play
The lush green grass tickles the soles of me feet
Nature surrounds me, filling my senses
I drink in the sight of proud trees, enlivening flowers, and the bright sun that smiles over us in an ocean sky
A smile spreads over my face
I plunge my hands into the nurturing soil, the sustainer of life
The coolness contrasts the gentle warmth of the rays' hugs
My eyes are vivid with joy
I rejoice Mother Earth and Father Sun as they connect
They connect inside me, around me, through me
For in this instant, I am their bridge
