Invisible

I look at you,
but you don’t see me.
I touch your hand,
but you don’t feel me.
I try to speak,
but you don’t hear me.
The world around me
is a world without me.
I try to give hope,
but you don’t seem to want it.
I try to give you love,
but you just ignore it.
I try to give you peace,
but it’s harder than you think.
No one seems to notice me
because I’m in a world of invisibility.
