What Tomorrow Brings

Age Group: Adult
As I look to the unknown tomorrow
I wonder what it holds.
Will I be released from all my sorrow?
Will the weather outside be cold?
“I really don’t know.”
I once heard someone say.
“You really shouldn’t worry about it.
Try to live for today.
That’s all that really matters.
And that’s the truth for all.
Forget about tomorrow.
Live today and stand tall.
For once the day is over,
When all is said and done,
If you really think about it,
Tomorrow may never come.
So enjoy life while you can
And be it as it may,
If things don’t go well for you,
Tomorrow will soon become today.”
Author's Notes: In today's fast and hectic world, it's easy to forget about the simple pleasures in life. It's easy to forget how to live.
