In the Beginning, A Children's Story

Age Group: Adult
In the Beginning
Before time was time, there was the All. The All being all there was and all that was desired. All knowing, All wise, All encompassing and all powerful. The All was one.
But as time moved forward through the never ending space of existence. The All desired to be even more, and in that instance the energy split into twin forms, equal but opposite, fashioning the Goddess and God. The All that was the one was now two.
Surrounded within the darkness the Goddess and God slowly opened their eyes. Looking around they saw the universes awaking all about them. For in their birth of life, they set in motion the beginning of the worlds. Stretching out their hands, energy and light exploded from there finger tips; as they beheld the creation of infinite solar systems, suns, stars, planets and moons; knowing each one by name down to the last grain of sand on the last planet formed.
Blissfully the Goddess begin dancing among the stars. The God saw such beauty and joy within her, his love could not be contained. He reached out and give unto her the most beautiful of the planets as his gift of love.
The Goddess was so moved by this, as she took the planet into her hands a tear fell from her cheek onto this planet. At that moment this planet which had been cold and without form, was given life. Oceans and seas, mountains and valleys. The Goddess lovingly choose and gently placed her gift among the stars as she named it Earth.
The Goddess reached out and took Gods hand, and again they became as one. Their love exploded across the universe spinning and whirling as it illuminated all the worlds to see. The Goddess and God were joyous. For in their love and union would spring forth all life.
This life would be placed on the most beautiful and desired of the planets, Earth. So the Goddess and the God placed upon the Earth the human race. Because they love us as their children, they know we must learn and grow. They are always here for us when we call, but allow us to make mistakes so that we might learn. .
Their love never faltering. The Goddess and God desire that in time we shall learn and someday in truth and love stand with them among the stars.
The Goddess being gentle of heart chose the Moon as Her symbol, so that she might watch and protect Her children during the night. The God bold in his passions chose the Sun as His symbol, to remind us of the powers that rain above us.
The Goddess and the God are Lord and Lady, Mother and Father. By their blessings and union all life occurs. Beneath the Moon and the Sun we are born, live, die and are reborn. For they are always present in all things.
