The Day Is Gone!

Age Group: Adult
The night is here, all you did today is a memory so clear.
Friends and family gather round,
Now it time for sleep to be found.
Another day will be here soon, time to play, work, and make room,
In the space of one day so soon.
Night is free to think and plan,
Things we want to do at hand.
Sometimes drama gets in the way,
So we plan for another day.
Another day to seek out fun,
Another day to be with each one.
Of our friends and family to speak and say,
Please GOD, give me another day.
Another day to try to mend,
Brokenhearts, and broken minds,
To try to fix and send,
Someone a smile, a friendly hug,
Someone to see, someone to LOVE!
