Friday night events
by Neon Nite
Age Group: Adult
I feel you
from the drop of rain on my face
to the dirt under my bare feet
you are in everything
always under watch I know this to be true
I am never alone
with hands raised I call your name
candles lit and smoke flying to the sky
i am washed in the light of the moon
in silence I come to this sacred place
for us to be truly connected
I am at home
you speak to me
"I am the mother of all things, I shall never leave you"
I feel your love running through my veins
divine light spiral dances
from my toes to my finger tips
nothing but peace i feel
I thank you for your time
with love that a child has for their mother
i say goodbye
the candles go dark
deep breathe are taken
silent walk away is began
the street light is seen ahead
cars drive pass on the busy road
with the secrets that I know I fade back into the mundane life.
