Our Mother
by Shadow
Age Group: Adult
Our Mother,
which art in Summerland,
hallowed be thy names.
Thy world live on,
thy will be done,
as below so as it is above.
Give us this day what's due to return,
and guide us in our ways,
as we give love and guidance
to all who need it.
Lead us away from harm,
and deliver us to freedom,
for thy is the earth, the life,
and the love are yours,
forever and ever.
So mote it be.
Author's Notes: I adapted this from the Christian "Our Father, " after watching the ending of The Crucible. I know, I know, this sort of adaptation's been done to death, but I just heard the words in my mind, and this adaptation is the result. Hope y'all like
