Ode To Kitten

How kind you were
It was
That you
Came passing through our lives.
Like a Shooting Star
From the heavens
In a fleeting visit
Here,
And then gone
Swift, sweet, and beautiful
Leaving your
Tiny paw prints on
Our hearts.
We love you
And
Miss you,
Little One.

We weren’t ready to say good-bye.
Our hearts are broken.
