thoughts of a father

Yes I know that this is still not poetry but as of now i can still find no better place to put my thoughts. And as for these thoughts i turn to a heart in pain, in a time of loss and striff in life i find my self not being the father i should be. How does a parent take care of one child at the expence of another. For reasons to long to list i find my self a stay at home dad to take care of my yongest, but in doing such my oldest who does not live with me looses out. though far in miles she is never far in my heart. she lives with her mother, but because i can not work the child suport goes unpaid, nor do i even have the meens to visit her. i feel like a real jerk for i call so little, yet im my defence i do this because to me it only adds to the hurt. what is the answer to a question that can not be answerd? how do i show my daughter i love her just as much as i did when she was with me? i cant play with her i cant see her, hug her kiss her hold her when she hurts. only a few now the depth of my pain, i carry it in silence, my own cross so to speak. we make the choices we have to, do the things we have to do even though those it hurts might not understand. such is the life of a drasco these days, but as always, may blessings fall on you and yours.
