one day soon
by little white wolf
Age Group: Adult
upon the lives lost and won
sits Young children
left behind from mothers passage
hiding head in hands
crouching upon hollow ground
of lost mothers grave
singing prayers fore there mothers sole
singing prayers with hope Divine will here
shedding tears none will see
wandering upon those hollow grounds
dreaming of Wat cold beas
dreaming that beloved mother still walked the same path
upon the lives lost and won
mothers greve for there lost sons
in the wake of mothers terror
spouses greeve for there lost lovers
the children lost to the seas of time
free now that lover of mine
free to rome
free once moor
soles once again well grown
in times to come they will return
bodies change with each new life
changing for better changing for worse
but always the same
as mothers greve over dead daughters graves
upon the lives lost and won
who was lost now returns
those will unite once agen
mothers taking child's hand
walking the paths of grief and joy
both will always wonder
both will always wander
both will always meet agen
upon the lives lost and won
Author's Notes: This is 1 of 3 poems i am thinking of reciting. It was written wen my father left. It holds no true meaning's comments wold be greatly appreciated.
