Lughnasadh/Lamas Blessing

Lughnasadh/Lamas Blessing
The grains sway gently in the fields,
Waiting for the harvest to come,
The sun smiles down on their golden heads,
Admiring a job well done.
As we begin to harvest the grains,
To make our daily bread,
We thank the Goddess for her blessings,
Upon which we are fed.
We save some for the coming year,
And the promise of things to grow,
We hold the blessings of the God and Goddess,
So they may continue to flow.
