Sherwood

Age Group: Adult
womyn gathered in the wood
and circled round the sacred fire
whispering their deep desire
and goddess saw that it was good
shadows in the the dancing flames,
elves and faeries stood around
the edge of circle's sacred ground
and watched them speak the ancient names
hands to stars invoked the Light;
womyn danced and raised the power
spirit filled the god's green bower
and laughter filled the Sherwood night
