It's To Late (A Story About Death)

What could have been will always stay. I'll never know because death has taken you away.
It's not deaths fault more so mine; you see I should have made time.
We talked we chatted, we were a lot alike.
I should have met you Halloween night.
I'll never know what kinda friend you would have been but if its like how we started I know it would have been a beautiful end.
I'm sorry I let others dictate what I did and for that I'll never really get to know you as a friend.
I guess that's how it's supposed to be; but how I wish we could have been friends being there for each other lending a helping hand.
I know your in a better place now and you've finished this life.
Mabey next time we'll get it right.
So for now I will learn and see the lesson you have given to me.
I will hold it close to my heart cause that's all the friend you'll ever be.
Author's Notes: Rest in Peace Jonathan. I am sorry that we never got together cause of my controlling ex. But I will never let that happen again. We will meet again.
I always try to make the best of the people I am friends with. I always say what I want to say and do everything cause I know that any day I could go or they could. It's like I treat each time I hang with someone or talk to them as it is our last. That way I know when they do go it will be hard but we made the best of it. I hope that makes sense. With Jonathan I didn't get to do that. It has really hurt my heart cause.... Well, the universe will find a way to make you learn from something even if you think you got it figured out.
Light and Love to all that have lost someone. As I have lost many (sister, and friends) .
