Trance

The dark twirling morning came closer. The wolf sat on the cold rock. Sitting on the rock next to the velvety stream, he started to tremble. He knew something was coming. At that time a fiery wind whirled about the wolf. With these winds came dark clouds. The wolf looked up and saw in the sky an emerald thunder bolt shooting cloud to cloud. The wolf sat and watched the rain splash upon the stream, as he fell into a trance. Rising out of his deepest self, the wolf looked up and saw the light of the pale midnight moon dancing on the water from the spiraling skies above.
