the difference between sex and love

There are things in this world. Look around you.
The air is not everything. There is perception, there is life, there is a world inside the smallest of particles.
And now.
Speak to me, hold me closer and say it again. I'm sorry, It's so far above and beyond my realm of comprehension that I could just die. But could you? I see what's happening before it has, and I hate to say it.
I hate to think it.
But it's so obvious.
There are a few lingering thoughts in my body. They twist and turn and grab and choke, so figuratively.
I have a penchant for lying; you will never wrench the truth from me.
And now you see what I've seen. Distrust: been there. Dishonesty: oh, naturally. It's not uncommon for the epitomes of "teenage wasteland" to be born from a scatter plot. Now is it? I suppose these birthings usually give rise to the thinkers, the poets, the artists of society. What comes from liquid and money returns to it.
But I'm sorry, really.
But it was obvious.
There is love in this world, I can't deny it.
There is so much love surrounding you, open your eyes girl. This is the difference; this is the key. Love between two people can't change the love they have already created. You are your father's daughter, you are your mother's daughter.
You come from love.
Open your eyes.
This won't destroy you. I know, you're too strong for that.
OPEN YOUR EYES.
There may be nothing left to base your childish dreams on, I'll admit. Perhaps your fairytale has broken. I'm sorry.
But you are simply immersed in love.
You are drowning yourself in it. Take a breath, open your eyes.
I wish you could see, and I wish I could trust you enough to snap you back into reality.
Perspective.
You are loved by many. Whether or not they still love eachother isn't the matter.
You are so truly loved.
And that's the difference.
There's no obligation. If/when/how they stopped loving eachother won't end their loving you.
They don't have to, they just do.
A nice sort of thing.
And that's the difference between sex and love.
Me and you.
