Little yellow headlights

so it is
just like you said it would be
my life is changing
and im starting to stretch upwards...
i think some people call it growing.
im up
up
and away
and the others apparently are staying
except for him,
hes going that way.
and him, hes going the other way
and her. shes just going.
so
i think ill pack my carpet bag
and unpack my worries and leave them on the scratched coffee table
theyve been really heavy to carry around
and i dont think ill be needing them today.
im off to Nowhere
and someday ill get Somewhere
i could be just Anywhere
i dont really care where im going,
as long as its diagonal
