constant depature while always arriving

by Arianna Pendragon
 Age Group: Adult

Given an object: perpetual motion. Comparing gravity, the weight of the world And the way the floor jumps to the music At the rhythm of a teenage heartbeat. Their actions not quite cries for help So much as the vibrancy of seemingly eternal life.
Light cast upon the repetion of everyday life, Endlessly going through the motion Caring, pretending, enough to try to help Eveyone and their daughters in the third world Undistinguishable from their "true" love's heartbeat The tribal quality of that foreign music.
Derving personality, next week's law from music That loops through the stereo, having consumed the life Of lesser men. Stopping the pain in the heartbeat With one swift, if clich, motion. Another tragic ending, another end to a mother's world Saying that was there nothing she could do to help?
Another second, wasting breath, space. Little help Found in the blind devotion to keys, their music. When the entirety of your known world, Planes, trains and old oak trees: Your life Is crumbled beneath your feet, contained in the motion Of her goodbye; broken records for a broken heartbeat.
She speaks romance, of doves and a pure heartbeat Synchronizing naturally, beautifully. No help Needed to compare and contrast the motion Of lovers' lips; First kiss, "yes", singing to the music Of eternity and forever. To have the life Evoking envy in the most apathetic of our world.
But this, our existence, and what in the world? Cycles completed in less time than a heartbeat. Biological clocks ticking, syncopated. Life: To recreate and procreate, photosynthetic help. Teen blasphemy: Darwinism (5th period) and music. CA Stardard 1-4b: Rolling a joint is a familiar motion.
There's nothing in the world to be done to help- Body, soul, heartbeat: better judgement lost to the music. They motion to come a little closer; the meaning of life.
