There he goes,
The one I see,
The one I hear,
The one I breathe,
But he doesn't know.
Now he passes,
Time slowed down,
I feel the air,
The breeze he causes,
The brush of his sleeve...
I see the turn of his head,
I hear his intake of breath,
And then the spark...
A hand reached out,
Lightly brushing,
Burning deeply,
Scarring beautifully,
Contact.
Author's Notes: This was written for a friend of mine, who recently found the love of her life. They've been dating for about six months now, and I know for a fact that they'll live happily ever after. It's one of those relationships, you know? You can just feel the love pouring off of them, and you've got to know it's soul deep and unbreakable.
