Violence and Violets

Age Group: Adult
Random acts of violets are blue,
Blue as the deep blue see all her pain pour out,
Blood pouring like a spring streaming tears down her face,
Stay up all night just to see the sun arise for your dark sanctuary,
Trying to shade in the tears her broken and abused heart apart,
And although she knows whats wrong and write down how you feel, don't hold back,
Create a silhouette of dark and light the spark within your soul,
As bright and red as a murder's I can't do this anymore,
Always being accused and tried to end it all, but so far all has failed,
Almost impossible to explain how I fill your head with my words,
Your reality, distorted by a false since when have you ever cared?
You never cared before when I was lying in a pool of read me like a book, did you?
All you did was stare as my lips turned blew out my last few seconds of life...
And then...
There was silence,
As the girl let one last tear fall and shattered on the crimson pool...
And was freed.
Author's Notes: In case some of you are thinking "What the hell is this? It doesn't even make sense, " Then i have came to explain a bit. I used a series of homophones (words that either sound the same or are spelled the same) to create two running themes in this poem. It was an experimental action on my part and i think it worked fairly well. I am going through another phase of depression and sometimes I'll feel like just killing myself and other times I find myself laughing out loud. So it only seemed natural to put in two grossly opposite themes in this particular poem: A sort of light-hearted sunset/beauty sort of theme and the obvious darker tone of death, destruction and pain. So yeah...there's my in-depth explination on that. Enjoy and let me know some of your thoughts.
