You were right
by Cee Are
Age Group: Adult
You were right of course
you had to hurt me
nothing else had worked and you had
given up and had to grab
someone new to give yourselves some hope
Do you really need to continue
to hurt me anew ?
Just how attractive, dangerous, secret and
glamorous is this thief
now that it's out in the open ?
What really hurts is not just the physical
betrayal or the emotional abandonment
it's that you've given nothing to
help me through this
You won't touch me hold me kiss me
lick me Frack me tickle me
You've left me behind and yet you're still here
and you expect me to accept this and
do nothing and get nothing
yet still be supportive
of everything you want to do ?
Love is not a one way street
neither is friendship
for a year and more
I've done everything
for you
When do you return
to meaning what you tell me ?
