The Chatter, the Chittersome Chatter

I loathe the chatter
The chittersome chatter
That plights my ears
With a pitiful pattern
And like a moldy spatter
Blights the sight of a rose
With a yellowing clatter:
"Oh, pretty! How pretty, pretty!"
Away, O mildewous melody!
Author's Notes: As a Naturalistic Pagan, I believe in evidence. There is no evidence that deities and magic are "real" in the most literal sense, but they may yet be moving and powerful. These poems are a tribute to the inspiration of Pagan ways.
