Michael, Oh Michael, why'd you have to go-
You were so young, not very old?
You're a legend of your own-
With you we've all grown.
Your talent was one of a kind-
You could take us away within our Minds.
We could dance and sway-
To the music you'd create.
Regardless of where we were-
Hearing your tunes, we'd sway for sure.
With, "Thriller, " you caught us by surprise-
But oh, the Awe, shown in our eyes!
So clever and creative-
Your music shall live throughout all ages.
Your blunt messages will live on-
Each time we hear your songs.
Somewhere in Heaven, I know, you're smiling-
Our tribute to you was so surprising.
You say, " I'll always be with you-
In Song, with all you do!"
