Preparing for the Lord of Light

Comes now our longest, darkest night-
When our ancestors come & shed light.
Good things ahead are in store-
Preparing for the Lord of Light, once more!
Wheel of the Year turns again-
Come join us all, family & friends.
We gather together this night-
Our candles & flames, we doth light.
Merry do we make-
Merry do we partake.
Join us this Yule, Peace you'll feel-
It's the celebration of the Wheel.
Yule logs made to hold our desires-
Come join as we light our bonfires.
Gathering from far & near-
We rejoice in faith & good cheer!
Now comes the Peace of Christmas-
Gather close & silently make your wishes.
We burn pine for prosperity-
It's Yule time, full of Peace & Charity!
