She Is There

Age Group: Adult
Through all the failures that I’ve tasted,
I’ve been stung by the time I’ve wasted.
Spiraling into the dark alone,
Is no task a sane one would condone.
Yet I was the one to embrace it,
Before the others could deface it.
But amidst such darkness I found light,
A reason to be—exist and fight,
Against the confounding oppression,
The other blackness—my depression.
Within I discovered the Lady,
Giving me light evermore shady.
Just what I needed in this old soul,
A heart that beats within tales untold.
