She sits in front of a mirror
Locked up, so no one will hear her.
Strapped in a rocking chair
Waiting for a savior who cares.
In her arms she cradles a doll
To watch her degraded, makes you bawl.
She was told the doll was her baby
Taunted cruelly, to make her go crazy.
Fed a candy bar for a meal
Deprived of her medicine, treated so evil.
She worked hard all her life
Never flinching, or afraid to sacrifice.
She raised eight children of her own
Thinking they'd care for her, when grown.
But her dreams were only an illusion
Leaving her heartbroken and shattered, due to her delusion.
Abused and abandoned by her baby son
The son, thought to be counted on.
Oh, what a wicked life we lead
When love can't be conquered by greed!
