Diamond In The Rough

Only once you come around
In this life, I have found!
A friend like you
Who's always so true!
When we're together time flies
So fast it flies before our eyes!
We talk for hours on end
Losing track of when we began.
Never bored with each other
Always excited to be with one another.
Glad to always embrace
Another day to share and feel blessed!
Eager to ease the pain
Happy to see a smile once again!
Quick to dry the tears
Always soothing away the fears!
Tender thoughts that warm the heart
Love radiated while we're apart!
A true friend is hard to find
A diamond in the rough, one of a kind!
