Watchful Eyes

Far in a corner, I heard a sound-
Alarmed, my heart sunk to the ground.
Nothing was there that I could see-
My mind's playing tricks on me.
For there's nothing there-
So, why am I scared?
Sometimes a house moans, creaks, or whines-
Keep telling yourself that, ease your mind.
Erase your fears-
Don't give credence to everything you hear.
Could be a mouse, swiftly running fast-
Running around playing, having a blast.
But when things keep falling without reason-
And you can't help but question-
Could it be a ghost who's playing?
Is it possible, you're saying?
Maybe it's only a coincidence-
Relax, don't get tense.
Angels are coming to say "Hi-"
Letting you know, they're keeping watchful eyes.
