Afraid

I am afraid of spiders
I am afraid of the dark
I am afraid that I'll forget
I am afraid that I'll chicken out
I am even afraid I’ll fail school
I am afraid of my father
I am afraid of a difference
I am afraid that I won't be loved
I am afraid that the world will end
I am even afraid that I can't
I want love
I want friends who don't judge
I want parents who don't get angry
I want my deceased dog back
I even want to leave this place
I want peace
I want war
I want silence
I want noise
And most of all
I want to be me
