It's final
The leaves have finally shift-shape;
colors of browns, reds, & oranges.
I feel the nip at my nose
I see my breath in the air
The grass.
Soggy with autumn morning dew.
I wake up crust & cold air coats my skin
The feeling somehow enchants me.
It's times like these that makes me wish the snow would fall,
instead of frozen rain
the rain that hits my chapped red lips, burning them slightly.
I walk around the school grounds;
to lunch
in the courtyard
I kick leaves as I go by
a foliage painting
I could sit there for hours
painting, drawing every little detail of the collage
distancing myself from all of society
harnessing nature as a part of me
ignoring the babble of humans
grinning at the messages of the animals
they make jokes at all those "stupid" humans.
Pan is out translator
our commander
to both humans & animals of the coming Autumn.
