Moon Song

Shining down
Your glow saturating my skin
Beaming at me
Searing my heart with Your white light
Dark all around
yet Your brightness surrounds like day
Did I have problems
I cannot seem to recall
Your complexity brought forth
Ever changing
Yet no end in sight
Infinity made manifest
I will give them to You
These woes I fail to remember
You steal them with a blink of Your eye
changing them to love
You bring peace in its stead
Washing over me
like the purest stream
filling my soul with the promise of Your love
Thanks I give to the picture I have
In the perfect night sky
A portrait of Your might
A perfect rendition
of all You encompass
A shining eye
watching me
guarding me
healing me
