Blessing Incantation of the Wooden Spoon

Age Group: Adult
The way to the heart is through the tummy,
May my potions always be yummy!
Parsely, sage, rosemary, and thyme,
Hold magick enough to be in this rhyme.
Wing of bat and eye of newt,
May my magickal workings always take root!
Fry pan and stock pot are cauldrons upon
A loving stir from this spoon, my wand!
Boil, simmer, and fricassee,
All are magickal acts to me!
Stirring deosil thrice about
Brings the magickal essence out
Of ev'ry soup, chili, or stew,
From my loving kitchen straight to you!
Oh wooden spoon, magickal tool,
In this hearth let abundance rule!
For the good of all and with harm to none,
As I will, so it be done!
Author's Notes: Written in honor of my shiny new wooden spoon (which has a Goddess symbol burned into it) ! Perfect for spreading some home cooked holiday cheer!
