They Dance The Wheel

They Dance the Wheel
Of Life and Death
Surrounding all
Within their Nest
They Dance the Wheel
Of Holy Days
A season reflecting
A simple age
They Dance the Wheel
With loving hearts
Integrating their essence
To all our parts
They Awake at Yule
From Their darkest rest
Their Souls like a fire
As children at best
They Bud into Youths
During Imbolcs care
They dance with the Fairies
Fire streaking their hair
At Ostara they fall
While chasing their Egg
Love and Gifts are exchanged
While pure they remain
They Wed at Beltane
To prove their Love true
Never parted they’ll be
Forever Love shall Renew
And Mother and Father
Shall they ever be
At the High time of Litha
The world at their knee
At the Harvest of Bread
They shall Birth Life anew
And Bless us with Life
When the Darkness Shows through
On the Day of Mabon
He Shall sink in the grain
His Blood to the Earth
Giving Life through his pain
On the day of Samhain
Her heart asking for rest
The Wise Lady puts down
Her head on her Loves breast
Forever and Ever
Shall it be the same
So Celebrate Life
And the Wheel shall Remain
Author's Notes: This is what me and my Hubby base our yearly rituals off of. It is set up to be family friendly, and our little Girls love that our celebrations inclue them... I had to go and set it to poetry though... Sometimes I cant help myself!
