The bar was dank that night and had a dirty smell Dale thought to himself pushing his way through the crowd to grasp at the sticky brass of the counter. It was intensified by the heavy rain soaking and palpable on the air. On any normal night the old barn looking establishment had only two on shift one bartender one bareback but tonight was graduation night at the local community college and the droves of students packed the bar. Cars of all kinds filled the parking lot and dotted the side of the gravel crossroads that cornered the old structure. Dale usually getting his pick of the bar was frustrated having to wait for his drinks but worst of all he had to be uncomfortable drinking with them, around them. Dale didn't like to see the young crowd or the different colors of their diversity. Dale's a good ole boy never missing an opportunity to put the "mud races in their place". Two black students and two hispanic students sit in dales favorite booth furthering his anger at the situation. Systemic anger and hate is the order for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hunger wells up inside and dales steady diet leaves him wanting more violence. New to the joint cocktail waitress, a beautiful young blond haired blue eyed Castilian from Mexico city. She kindly and carefully takes the order at dales favorite booth. Enraged the epithets fly without warning. "Don't serve them first" Dale starts in "Don't serve the monkeys and mexicans before me", the waitress was shocked. "White women shouldn't serve them anyway." Added to the confusion at the table because the young waitress attended the same school and classes
