5 Minutes Until Death

Age Group: Teen
5 minutes until death,
5 minutes until life is over.
I’m writing my final page.
The knife is ready in the corner, I’m ready.
4 minutes
4 minutes until death is here,
I can’t cry, my body’s numb.
No more names called,
No more tears,
No more “You’re a waist of space”
No more life.
3 minutes
3 minutes until the grim reaper comes for my body,
My life will end in 3 minutes.
I’ve had enough.
2 minutes
2 minutes until pain is no more.
I will never hurt again,
Never see the light of day.
1 minute
1 minute left, I’m knocking on death’s door.
This is the end, it’s almost time,
My life will be over in a mere 30 seconds.
I grasp the knife firmly,
Ready for it to plunge through my chest.
No minutes,
It’s Time.
Goodbye to the world,
I shall not see thee anymore.
